Vincent John Vincent, President and Managing Director, is the driving force behind Vivid Group. Both Vincent and co-founder Francis MacDougall hold degrees from the University of Waterloo. There, in 1984, they brought Arts and Technology together in what became the prototype of the Gesture Xtreme. This is a camera-based VR communications medium without the constraints of time, space or locale. Vincent was instrumental in defining and accessing the VR market for Gesture Xtreme and has shown amazing foresight in the design, development and implementation of this new interface, man to machine.

As an inventor and entrepreneur, Vincent promotes the technology as an entertainment and communications tool to access, process, transport and display information in an innovative way, utilizing existing TV and telecom infrastructures as well as progressive new media distribution systems not yet realized.
